This is my dad and Lucas fishing in some lakes we have in our neighborhood. They are well stocked and the fish are very eager to bite which makes for fun fishing. I finally got to use some of my My Minds Eye- Bohemia paper and accessories (photo frame, buddies clear strip). The colors worked well for the photos. For some fun I added a fishing lure to the page, but increases the risk of injury :) I used the tearing edge on the white paper and then inked with close to coco. This page turned out really cute, love the color combo, I used the ribbon as the starting point. For the circles I used my circle cutter by EK Success (have I told you that I love it!!). For the card stock I used DCWV (green & light blue), SU! (brilliant blue), Paper Company (white) all textured (love textured cs!!) Brads and ribbon buckle by Queen & Co, can't remember who the tag is by, patterned ribbon from Michael's, white and green ribbon by SU!. I inked the edges of the photos with brilliant blue and glorious green by SU!. The little circle at the bottom with the date was used to cover up a mistake, I was trying to stamp the date under the picture but it didn't stamp all the way and looked bad, so stamped on the circle (to carry the circle theme) and covered the mistake. As they say, there are no mistakes in scrapbooking just embellishment opportunities.
